Last night I saw a movie that put things in perspective for me relative to what is now happening in a country that we all love. The movie I would definitely recommend but the significant part of the message that jumped out at me was a statement made by a TV Reporter in the movie:

“We still live in a free country. I can say whatever I glean as a reporter as long as it is the truth”.

Immediately I saw just how profound that statement is for America. For a free country also will disappear with the absence of truth in her media, and in her national mind set.

Communists have known for a long time that they can control entire populations by controlling what the population is fed News wise. Communists also have no qualms about such control over others because, for to them there is no afterlife where man is answerable to God. Over the last century we have transitioned as a society in the west from a society with a conscience to one where over half of our population is not only not God fearing, but believes that there is no truth but one’s own. This has not nor will it bode well for the western: formerly Christianized society.

When we hear men say that the next election is the most crucial in our history, this is the underlying reason. With each passing 8 year term of a normal Presidential Administration there is a passing of some older more conservative societal thinking and an addition of younger more progressive, and nonchalant toward conservative values within the voter pool. When the education system is overtaken by those with either no God-consciousness or a perverted form within their instruction as their goal; then the process is escalated.

Progressive leaders understand their power over the mind. Even todays concept of God where it does exist without God’s own influence (the Bible) is more in line with a New Age concept of god and man. New Age being actually from the very old school of occultism where god is not the creator, but is the creation and everything including man himself is part of god. This distortion of God escalates man, making his actions (even sinful ones) acceptable because after all he is equal with his god: a little or a big god in his mind.

If one truly studies the Scripture as a servant of God accepting his need of God for wisdom in this life; then all of this becomes clear as society continues down a path toward its own destruction without God. Our hope is in God. Our purpose is to make disciples who will make disciples of Christ.
