Trump followers are largely Christian from almost every denomination. MSNBC is entertaining the idea that Trump supporters could possibly be labeled a cult. This is based on a poll the results of which are below. This idea coming from MSNBC should not surprise us.

The real issue which is revealed here is that Trump is trusted (based on this poll) more on his leadership for presenting the truth that matters to most Christian people than are others including the pastors in the pulpits across America.

What perhaps is also very important, is that we must see that Trump also wins in this regard over both family and conservative media figures. Why?

Let’s look at family: unfortunately I would need to vote the same if I were looking for the % of my family that can be trusted for their opinion of truth, because most in my family are not able to research to get at the truth as I do, and therefore when I tell them the bottom line of that research, they are mostly looking at me as though they can’t believe that I could conclude that this country is in any more trouble than it has ever been within any other period or election cycle. It’s a boring subject to them, and I’ll not trust their indifference to their own future plight.

But conservative Media must certainly be informed, so why is their opinion also unappreciated by MAGA? The truth is the main problem. They either refuse to consider it, or they know it and can’t talk about it for fear of losing their coveted place in society.

So what about the pastors? It would seem that pastors today just like their counterparts in Germany leading up to WWII, are more interested in keeping the flock happy; then they are about dealing with the real issues of our time, which will keep them safe; issues which could undermine our form of governance. And, yes issues which could even lead to the persecution of Christians and Jews. Why we may even be living near the end of this age? But pastors seemingly can’t afford to delve into this condition of our nation. It’s to controversial.
