What Does This Mean to the believer?

Is Dr David even right? Is the falling away prophesied to occur before or “ahead of the End times” as he says?

Matthew 24:9 “Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 “And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. (NASB2020)

Dr Jeremiah will insist on Scriptures literal interpretation, and with that insistence I certainly agree, in fact, when scripture makes sense, how can we think anything but what is said? But is what he stated here true to that understanding of the Bible? That is the real question. In fact, the only question that is important is this: is it true to the Scripture? His statement is not even true to his own truth concerning end-time doctrine. His belief; his teaching has always been that the church is gone before Tribulation begins. This is not what he is saying by implying what he does here.

“Then they will hand you over to Tribulation…And at that time many will fall away,…

If what he says is in keeping with the word; then though we may be close to the time of the Tribulation, as many believe, still we have not yet seen the full effects of believers apostatizing. Therefore, Jesus has told us “abide in Me”, there is no other way to remain faithful and to keep from falling.

In Christ we are able to do all things. Without Him we are nothing.
