On this 4th holiday I watched “Sound of Freedom”, and yes I wept. This film was in the can (as they say in Hollywood) for 5 years. It was not acceptable to Hollywood; or to our film watching society. And my bet is: that if you are in the “God is Only Love” camp, that you will not see it. Child Traffickers are more apt to see this movie than are you.

Evil has in our day come up against Film actors; film producers; Government officials; Judges; Attorneys; media giants; and the public in general, but now it is coming for us as believers in God Himself.

Jim Caviezel is the epitome of what God is looking for in a believer today. He stands for as an actor not just what he believes, but what he believes is true to God, and to His Word, and not to evil, and its subtle deceptions, and its horrific actions.

Today is the day that evil brings its influence to bare on not just the soul and actions of men but upon the beliefs themselves of entire segments of society as represented in governments; businesses and yes even churches. But this is not new; it is just denied even as it was in the days of Elijah, when Israel (GOD’s own chosen people) had more prophets of Baal than they had prophets of God. In fact, God had to go outside of this Jewish population to choose His prophet a Gentile Tishbite, by the name Elijah in order to take apart a wicked Government, and it’s prophets.

Most of us believers in Jesus as savior and Messiah (the Christ) are awake to what is happening in this world. And though I know that I have stated this before, I still think it needs to be again stated: this world is not our home, it in fact today is the world in which Satan roams and yes even reigns. We are the possessors of the only restraining action against Satan’s deception and evil. We are vessels of God’s Holy Spirit, but that does not give us the right to withdraw from confronting the evils in this world. The Holy Spirit is everywhere throughout this planet. His purpose is to lead us to follow Him in His (God’s mission) to thwart evil, and spread Truth, Jesus is The Truth, The Life, The Way.

Confront evil, because one day you will confront Jesus in Judgment.
