Many speak of Prophetic Convergence in our day. So what is driving this?

In Jesus days on earth He spoke of nations rising against nations, of their wars and their rumors of wars. But when Jesus gave the signs that He gave us there was only one world power. Only one which had no rivals. Rome was that power. So even the beginning of the signs of convergence were not present when Jesus gave the signs starting with the beginning of sorrows.

Today things are all changing. We have seen and we are continuing to see the beginning of sorrows or birth pangs.

Mark 13:8 “For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will [also] be famines. These things are [merely] the beginning of birth pangs. (NASB1995)

But before the next verse, (Vs.9), takes place Jesus says:

Mark 13:10 “The gospel must first be preached to all the nations. (NASB1995)

No one knew it then, but only in our day has that been made possible. I have told you before that 2025 is the current target for completion of a written gospel produced and to be taught for every known language.

Then Jesus continues to explain His statement of the events He said were after the gospel is spread. He did this in verse 9, which again the wording states will occur only after the gospel reaches all nations:

Mark 13:11 “When they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but [it is] the Holy Spirit. (NASB1995)

The events given in this verse and the verses following associated with conversion will not occur until after verse 10 is completed. I did not say this, Jesus said it. So as you read about these things which are to follow the advancement of the gospel to every nation, you must ask: “what then really follows that event”? Is this that follows said here or elsewhere to be the beginning of 1000 years of peace, which many are expecting from this present convergence to be setting the stage for a house cleaning supporting 1000 years of peace before Messiah will come? Or is this convergence to be understood to bring the escape from the Tribulation? Is this implying a Rapture before Jesus returns or after He returns?

Hear what Jesus actually says relating to what His disciples asked: Mark 13:13 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. (NASB1995)

Anyone who names the name of Christ Jesus or preaches that name after the gospel is spread will at some point thereafter be among a hated group by anyone who has refused that gospel, even including one’s own family. And these things will come because of the gospels rejection by the many of those that have heard it.

In terms of convergence, we are beginning to see the evidence of the gospels rejection even in America. The rejection of God’s good news actually allows evil to gain entrance into the hearts of men. That evil blinds, and smolders until God says that they will be given over.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 [that is,] the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. (NASB1995)

There seems to be confusion over this judgment as to just when it is to come.

Many of you have great hope that God will bring about better things for our future than what these verses predict. Possibly ignoring that it is better things that He will speak directly through you to others by His Spirit? This is the good recorded as part of this convergence. Should prosperity and health occur as some hope, it will only be because of the Grace of God. I write this because: should those things not occur as you have been taught to hope, then I do not want you to take offense toward God, for not the millennium nor the Rapture are proven with Scripture until all of the dead in Christ will rise at His coming. Paul says concerning this Rapture: 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead (in Christ) shall rise first: (KJV) my emphasis added.

This is what Scripture teaches. Can we honestly say that these of whom Jesus spoke will not be in Christ? Jesus says to them: “do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but [it is] the Holy Spirit.” and also: Mark 13:13 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

Is this not believers in Christ, who see these things happen?

Mark 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: (KJV)

You live in a time when there are many deceivers; I could even be one; therefore study to show yourself approved a workman who need not be ashamed when you hear teaching on the timing of these events. You alone are responsible for the doctrine to which we adhere. Trust the Holy Spirit within you to lead and to teach you.

Matthew 24:14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. (NASB1995)

Paul tells us in Romans 11, that after the last Gentile to be saved is added to God’s Olive tree, that then the gospel will have its impact upon the Jews of the Israelite Nation as they return to become sons of God. Already there are Messianic Jews in Israel.
