Will it in fact change the world? Over the past four years we have seen in the eyes of the beholder, no matter who the beholder may be, that the world has gone nuts and they must do something about it.
To the Trump hater, the world is under siege from Trump and his followers, who seemingly would follow him almost anywhere philosophically with actions that they (the Trump haters) despise. They see his movement as formed over hatred toward everything that they stand for.
To the Trump lover, they see the world as lost and flailing without the measures that Trump stands for. It is a country and a world on the brink of self destruction, having divorced itself from God.
In the middle there are those, who wonder why everyone has suddenly gone nuts. They just want to return to normal. Normal was when everyone (loved — no) tolerated one another no matter how nuts they were. They just acknowledged one another’s right to exist and went their own way happy that they were not the other guy. He might be nuts but that was ok so long as I can do my own thing.
But it is this very state, which we thought was normal, that has led the world so far away from God and brought about this very moment when evil has risen in all walks of life. When it exposed itself in recent years within our leaders many awakened first to the fact; then to the need for change. And thus we are here at this moment in time.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. (KJV)
Unfortunately, for most we cannot each go our separate way in peace. Because our own way leads to evil. When the light is shined on darkness the darkness disappears. That is also true in individual lives we become new creatures when God shines on and in us, but we do not put out the evil in others around us, but instead we tend more to infuriate the evil that remains among us. Evil must be overcome by God bringing about a new heart and mind. Good does not overcome evil. If it could Jesus would still be alive in a mortal body on earth.
We cannot tell others how to be good. We can only stand for Jesus and point others to Him. Trump no matter what you think of him, was used by God to awaken us to His truth. If evil is allowed to rule our nation we will go the way of the world and follow after it. And we will see that good will be more and more persecuted by the rising tide of evil. Evil has and will be allowed to rise through the laws of this land, if our laws do not put a stop to it, and to those who make them. But think not that all this will happen in peace.
I am saddened that you think Jesus failed and is weak Jerry and think that Barabass was the one who had it right.
“Good does not overcome evil. If it could Jesus would still be alive in a mortal body on earth.”
This has got to be the saddest comment you’ve ever made. It was because of His “goodness” that He went to the cross, it was the will of His Father that He should LAY DOWN HIS LIFE and NOT fight to His death.
Do you really not understand the works of God? Or are you caught up in carnality?
Now go read the beginning of Matthew 10 and see that you might understand what and who Jesus is referring to when He speaks from verse 10:32, it’s the polar opposite of what you believe. He is referring to those who are political Jews and want to take power back from Rome.
Vs 5 clearly states this “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.”
So now it is with christians who want wrestle power from the American empire. How do you not understand this simple Truth?

Stephen I really think you misunderstand my point. Good does not overcome evil in this world of free will, unless God is involved in each individual life. Not only was Jesus killed by the evil in the world —sin, which you are correct about. He laid down His life willingly for the sinner, paying for their sin. Yet they still rejected the good in Him and in His followers. Evil also destroyed His followers who reflected His good in their lives. Today evil is persecuting Christians throughout this earth, and it’s coming to the country that you live in soon if this fraud is allowed to stand in your government. Sorry but it will be inevitable.

You’re not making any sense at all Jerry. There is nothing new today considering the Kingdom that wasn’t around when Jesus Christ.
I’m going through the book of acts right now.
Those who killed Jesus Christ had POLITICAL motivation Jerry, much like most of the conspiracies you share.
You’re grip on reality and Jesus are slipping..

Not sure I’m following your objection.

Are you saying that anyone who mixes religion and politics is part of the evil? That makes no sense if that’s what you mean. David was not for example a-political, he just would not act without knowing God’s will. Jesus is the soon coming king — the perfect politician. And of course Jesus came to die. It was the only way that a perfect sacrifice could be offered up for sin. You really have not read many of my posts if you think I view Anyone above Jesus as savior, politicians included.

I’ve read a lot of your posts Jerry and just letting you know it appears you’ve stepped off the narrow path over the last year.
Just my opinion. You seem awfully confused about much.
I suspect your new found passion of patriotism over Christ is causing you problems in your day to day life.
This is not persecution as you believe but the result of being brain washed into far right conspiracies.
If you’d like Jerry, I can leave you to your delusions and not bother you anymore.
If you and your band of merry men don’t cease your anti-Christ mission, what you will see is the same that happened in 70 AD.
We are to wait and be ready for the return of Jesus Christ. Not put our faith in some orange buffoon or a religious movement wrapped up around any man.

Steven your lack of respect for Donald Trump is unbecoming a believer in Christ. I think you need to ask the Lord Jesus if He did not die for Trump. Just how do you follow Biblical instruction to pray for him. Do you say Father God in the name of Jesus I pray for the orange buffoon? Just wandering who raised you to disrespect your elders as you do.

I only respect those who are respectful. Just cause someone is old is no reason to blindly believe or follow them Jerry.
Old people are no different in character than young people, some are good and some are bad.
Don’t be a hypocrite now about praying for leaders.
You show the same disrespect to most democrats so you have no reason to judge me as disrespectful.
Watch and see what the Lord does with the orange buffoon. Vengeance is His, so lets just see what happens.

I still like your spunk Steven. But calling people names is not one of my issues. But it would seem to be both yours and Trump’s. Perhaps you will benefit from today’s post by a Democrat mayor reporting on Trump. Perhaps both you and Trump are types that God has created for the current fight that we have in America.

There’s no need for a disciple to fight, only to walk and follow his King and Good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. For Jesus Christ has won the battle. All we’re called to di by Him, Is to follow Him
The only True battle is within ourselves Jerry vs our very own sin nature, what ever that sin may be, for there are many sins.
