We have been examining the teachings about the Aliens, and what it might mean.

Paul is said to have taught Two Separate future Comings of Jesus — Were his teachings really about Two Comings?

The Alien gospel tells us that Aliens are the true gods (the Elohim), and that they will at some point remove the unbelieving religionists, (that would be us) removing us to some other planet for reprogramming. Then to be returned again.

The New Age religious teaches who preceded the Alien teachings, have also said that one day we will all become as gods (as Christ). And that this will come probably amidst much trouble and bloodshed as the earth must be purged of the resistance from the conservative form of Christianity (again us); or those who hold to the current Biblical understanding of God and man.

Much of the leadership within the church today are telling us that we will all be Raptured before the coming Tribulation and before the real deception, which is to accompany it actually will come about. Others believers tell us that we will be here for Christ’s Coming to earth and the Tribulation which precedes it.

So as can be seen much is said today that is to impact this time on earth. But what we should be interested in foremost is — what does God’s Word tell us concerning it all.

12. The wicked plots against the righteous And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees his day is coming. Psalm 37: 12-13 NASB

Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 NASB)

For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? (1 Thessalonians 2:19 NASB)

so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. 1 Thessalonians 3:13 NASB

This verse alone is very telling concerning the timing of believers becoming established in holiness. There is a time when God will find holiness established within us. This time is obviously seen by Paul as the time that Jesus is coming for us (or) to Rapture us. And it is here in this passage that we are told that that time is at the very same time as when He returns with all His saints.

But how can this be? How can Jesus come for us and with us? This is the age old question, but it does have a scriptural answer. We are body and within that body we are a Spirit and Soul. It is the Soul of a saved man which goes into paradise as a Spirit man fully recognizable; but without a fleshly body. When Jesus comes He comes with the Souls of His saints in Spirit form, and they meet their new and immortal bodies in the air, and then we who are alive and remain are caught up and changed into immortality to meet this crowd of witnesses (these saints) in the air.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. (1 Thessalonians 4:15 NASB)

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NASB)

So we see that we will be spirit and soul and body at His coming.

Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 NASB)

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; (2 Thessalonians 2:8 NASB)

This lawless one is revealed as he sets himself up as God in the Temple of God. But there is an order to God’s plan.

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. (1 Corinthians 15:23-24 NASB)

Any of these verses would have been a perfect time for Paul to explain two comings if there were more than one, but he didn’t and neither does he do it elsewhere within his writings. Yet, it is Paul who we are told teaches these two comings.

Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 NASB)

There is nothing that Paul has ever written pointing to the coming of the Lord that would cause us to think that there are yet two comings. So if we are looking to know our times and seasons, since Paul has told us that we do know them, and that we are in need of no one to tell us; then let’s consider what we are told.

In fact, let’s put all of what we are told together and consider for one moment what it all means. Consider with me a time when many from the church will have fallen away. Many others will have been rounded up over a short period of time. That day is coming.

This rounding up of believers will be occurring amid chaotic events. It will one day be happening.

Some speculation:

Now consider at this time that you have a nephew living with you. It could be thought by your nephew that you were Raptured because he cannot locate you. There is rumor and evidence giving good reason to believe that the Government has been rounding up and imprisoning believers, and there is no one, who your nephew knows who is now raising much opposition to what is happening. He along with the rest is fearful.

Following your disappearance the worldwide news media reports in bold headlines that: THE DAY OF THE LORD has arrived; the New Age has dawned upon the earth.

THE MEDIA IS SHOWING following your disappearance, what seems to be an ongoing gathering up of people who would dare to stand up for Jesus, and those who would dare do this are arrested.

Now imagine that your Nephew has seen all of this on the television and on his cell phone. He is distraught but curious. He has been to church many times with you, and he knows that Paul wrote to the Thessalonians concerning the Day of the Lord which the media is saying has arrived. He remembers that this Day of the Lord is taught to be the day of the Rapture. He is confused — Has the day of the Lord happened? Has the Rapture happened, or are they rounding up Christians and if so for what purpose? So, he picks up your Bible laying there on the kitchen table, and he turns to Thessalonians and he reads the following:

Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 NASB

You nephew is now faced with a dilemma. He just heard that the day of the Lord has come. It is in the headlines. And that a new age of evolved consciousness is coming from the Lord. It is in the headlines. The Pope is proclaiming it. He has seen on the TV many arrested. What is really happening? Are these Aliens that he has been hearing about on the history channel, who call themselves the Elohim, and, who are claimed to have placed us on this planet — are they really in the process of removing the body of people who called themselves born again Christians, or has the Rapture actually occurred? Is The Age of Aquarius really now upon him, or has the Rapture occurred?

But if the Rapture has occurred then what I just read in that scripture is the deception. Yet, if it is truly God’s word that I read; then I must believe it. Mustn’t I? If what it says is true and the Rapture is still future; then what I am hearing is part of the deception of the Tribulation. There is no one claiming to be God yet. There is no temple yet. And these Spacecraft that I see hovering around are they part of this deception. The Bible tells us that there will be deception.

I then may still have time to be saved. Maybe I have not been left out. Maybe I can still commit my life to Jesus and Not be left behind at the Rapture. But would my salvation then mean that I might die for Jesus? Should I place my faith and hope in Christ?

looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:13-14 NASB

Who do I believe? Do I believe that God has sent us this new age, the kingdom; the day of the Lord? Or is this all deception? Is God giving me a last opportunity for salvation before He comes?

Speculation over:

What we know my fellow believer, is that the word of God is truth even though all else around us may be a lie. What appears in this world as truth most often is not truth, but God’s word never fails.

Jesus tells us through His message to John in the Revelation that there will be believers who will overcome Satan with the word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb during the Tribulation. Are they not in His Bride? Are they not in Christ?

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NASB

My next post is from this following book Obadiah, and it is Scriptures further confirmation as to the actual timing relative to The Tribulation; the Day of the Lord and thus of the Rapture.
